Oh, so many different ways to describe myself.

Mom of 4 sons, former wife, expat missionary kid raised in Korea, video gal, encourager, Listener, entrepreneur, enthusiastic learner and reader, sand-and-saltwater lover, waterfall builder, relentlessly curious independent thinker.

I’ve been self-employed as Riemer-Cusick Communications since Spring of 1989, which is “officially forever ago.” Decades of work freelancing as a Corporate-Industrial Video Production professional means I built a bunch of skills to tell stories effectively, helping people learn or be inspired in some particular way after watching the videos I helped produce (or shoot or write or direct or edit).

I helped co-found DriveSafeRideSafe, which has helped many families create safer, smarter teenage drivers.

I’m a co-founder of StrawBaleGardenClub.com with Joel Karsten, the guy who invented (OK, he prefers the word “pioneered”) an awesome method of growing food with no digging or weeding called Straw Bale Gardening.

I’m a writer.

I’m a singer (at church, and also in the shower and the car, of course.)

I’m an aspiring inventor with a stockpile of product ideas.

I’m a “compulsive share-r.” (Please note this is NOT the same as being an over-sharer, although I might occasionally be guilty of that!)

I am friendly, cheerful, empathetic,
